Located the first floor of Presbyterian Hospital Matthews, Cafe 1500 offers families and guests a wide variety of hot entrees, salads, brick-oven pizzas, made-to-order items, to-go meals, specialty coffee bar and more. Guests may also visit our gift shop featuring books, magazines, flowers, candy, personal care items and baby gifts. A business center and Automated Teller Machine (ATM) are also located on the first floor of Presbyterian Hospital Matthews.
Children’s services at Presbyterian Hospital Matthews offers advanced pediatric care – close to home. Our team of expert physicians and nurses are specially trained in pediatrics and provide a wide range of services for children of all ages in a warm, child-friendly environment featuring brightly colored hallways and family center with games and activities.
The Presbyterian Health Library at Matthews provides patients, families, medical professionals and the public personal assistance in locating in-depth health and medical information through access to medical databases, journals and books. Our full-service library is located on the first floor and open Tues.-Fri. 9:00 - 11:30 a.m., 12:30 - 4:00 p.m.; extended evening hours offered Thurs., 4-6 p.m., by appointment.
The chapel is located on the first floor of Presbyterian Hospital Matthews. Our chaplains are available to provide spiritual guidance, prayer, emotional support and comfort. Unit nurses may contact a chaplain for patients and families to schedule a visit, or patients and visitors may contact Chaplaincy Services at 704-384-6360.
Presbyterian Hospital Matthews offers spacious "all-in-one" maternity suites, allowing moms to spend their enitre stay in one place. In addition to a specially trained staff of maternity nurses and board-certified physicians, Presbyterian Hosptial Matthews offers a Level III special care nursery to provide advanced care to critcally ill and premature newborns.
The Presbyterian Hospital Matthews Breast Center offers leading-edge breast imaging services including diagnostic and screening digital mammography and breast MRI. Our caring team of experts and our warm, relaxing environment make the Presbyterian Hospital Matthews Breast Center a comfortable place for women to receive the breast health services.
