Heart Attack (AMI Care) Quality

A heart attack (also called AMI or acute myocardial infarction) happens when the arteries leading to the heart become blocked and the blood supply is slowed or stopped.

The Appropriate Care Measure (ACM) is a patient-centered composite score that captures whether or not a patient received all of the recommended treatments they were eligible to receive, based on the specific condition.

A quality measure is medical information from patient records coverted into a rate or percentage that shows how well hospitals care for their patients. You can use this quality information to help you compare hospitals.
