We voluntarily participate in programs to measure our performance and compare with other hospitals throughout the nation. The federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) publish the results of several patient quality measures at hospitals across the U.S., including these key areas in which Presbyterian Healthcare participates.

Mission Lifeline
Presbyterian has taken part in statewide initiatives to improve the care of heart attack victims in North Carolina. Our care of heart attack patients exceeds national standards and serves as a model for others. Mission Lifeline, a project of the American Heart Association (AHA), is tackling heart attack care across the country.
