Treatment of Foot Infections (Surgical & Non-Surgical)

Treatment options for both minor and severe infections of the feet.

Wound Care

The management of chronic wounds.

Apligraf Skin Equivalent

Similar to human skin, Apligraf® consists of living cells, proteins and skin-healing substances. Apligraf® is not an ointment or dressing. It is designed as a "living" skin patch that replicates the healing function of healthy human skin. Apligraf® helps the skin naturally regenerate itself.

Wound VAC

Vacuum-assisted closure (VAC) is a non-invasive technique whereby negative pressure is delivered in a uniform manner to a wound. This encourages the arterioles to dilate, so improving blood flow, promoting a moist environment and assisting in the proliferation of granulation tissue.

Ultrasonic Wound Treatment

Uses ultrasonic vibration and energy to clean a wound (destroying bacteria) and remove dead tissue, while preserving healthy tissue.

Transcutaneous Oximetry

Transcutaneous Oximetry (TCOM2), or diagnostic oxygen study, is a non-invasive procedure which measures blood flow and oxygen tension levels to help predict the healing potential of a wound.

Topical Growth Factor Application

Substances that increase cell regeneration and decrease wound healing time.

Skin Grafting

A surgical procedure by which skin or a skin substitute is placed over a burn or nonhealing wound to permanently replace damaged or missing skin.

Sharp Debridement

The removal of dead or necrotic tissue or foreign material from and around a wound to expose healthy tissue using a sterile scalpel, scissors or both.

Pulsatile Lavage

A wandlike device held close to the tissue surface delivers sterile irrigating solution and concurrently suctions it away.

Negative Pressures Wound Therapy

Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) is the use of sub-atmospheric pressure to promote or assist wound healing, or to remove fluids from a wound site.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy exposes the body to 100 percent oxygen under increased pressure. HBO is often used in combination with other treatments such as surgery or antibiotic therapy, and is used to care for patients with diabetic ulcers, infection of the bone, post radiation treatment wounds, post surgical wounds, preparation and preservation of compromised skin grafts/flaps and more.

Growth Factor Therapy

Growth Factor therapy involves the use of proteins that occur naturally in our body, called Growth Factors. Growth Factors are chemical messenger cells, and there are many different biological functions that they can induce by binding to receptors on cell surfaces.

Bioengineered Tissue Application

Use of a  material developed from the small intestines of pigs is to restore damaged tissues and support the body's own healing process.
