Parenting Classes

It's not always easy being a new parent, and Presbyterian can offer expert guidance.  Parenting classes are offered on topics such as parenting techniques, infant massage and CPR courses.    Babies are welcome to attend.  Learn more.

Breastfeeding Support

Breastfeeding can be a wonderful experience for both mom and baby, but learning to nurse takes time, practice and patience.  The Nursing Mother's Place offers classes, teaches techniques and provides follow-up care whenever you need assistance.  Learn more.  

Postpartum Health

After your baby is born, it's important to make sure to take care of yourself.  Experiencing "baby blues" is very normal, with more than 80 percent of women experiencing symptoms during the first week after delivery.  We have a special program dedicated to identifying and treating women as they progress through their child-bearing years.  Learn more.   

Nutrition and Weight Loss

After having a baby, you may want some additional support to shed those pregnancy pounds.  Registered dietitians provide individual consultations to help you get back to a healthy lifestyle.  Learn more.

Children's Emergency Department

For serious illnesses or injuries, Presbyterian has an emergency department dedicated exclusively to children.  Open 24/7 and located right on the campus of Presbyterian Hospital, the doctors, nurses and staff are specially trained in emergency medicine and have a special heart for taking care of kids in an urgent, often frightening, situation.  Learn more.
