Please review the following information regarding insurance and payment information for maternity services. Please contact the central business office at 1-888-844-0080 with any questions.
- Contact your insurance company to determine any co-pay or co-insurance amounts for which you will be responsible based on your specific insurance plan.
- Contact Presbyterian Financial Counseling to pay your hospital admission co-pay before you are admitted. If you are admitted before making the payment, one of our financial counselors will visit you before your discharge to collect the co-pay. Contact Presbyterian Financial Counseling Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. at 704-384-0539.
- The estimated cost for a vaginal delivery in 2010 is $7,083. The estimated cost for a Cesarean section in 2010 is $10,676. The estimated cost for a normal newborn stay is $1,015. You will receive additional bills from services that require a specialist, such as an anesthesiologist.
- Contact your obstetrician's office to make sure that all pre-certifications and/or referrals have been obtained prior to your arrival at the hospital.
- Call your employer's human resources department to have your baby added to your insurance policy upon his or her birth.
