Pediatric Hospitalist

Pediatric hospitalists care for children who are admitted to Presbyterian Hemby Children's Hosptial.  They work with your regular pediatrician and other physicians and providers involved in your child's care.  The types of services they provide are:

• Ordering test, medication and treatments
• Visiting your child's bedside and answering questions
• Communicating with your child's pediatrician, family physician or other provider about your child's condition and care
• Consulting with additional specialists as needed
• Arranging for your child's discharge from the hospital
• Sending a hospital care summary to your child's physician
