Chest Pain Centers
Our accredited Chest Pain Centers in Charlotte, Matthews and Huntersville are ready to provide rapid-response treatment in the event that you or a loved one experiences chest pain or any other heart attack warning sign. Using advanced diagnostic tools, including one of the fastest CT scanners available today, our team works quickly to determine whether or not you are actually having a heart attack. If you are, you will be taken immediately to our Cath Lab at Presbyterian Hospital, where we will open the blockage and stop the heart attack in its tracks.
Presbyterian Healthcare was one of the first health systems in the state of North Carolina to receive Cycle III accreditation, currently the highest possible level awarded by the Society of Chest Pain Centers. Presbyterian Hospital has Cycle III accreditation with PCI, a special designation for its interventional catheterization program. Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville and Presbyterian Hospital Matthews have Cycle III accreditation status.
