Second Opinion Clinics

We offer Second Opinion Cancer Clinics, where cancer specialists meet together at one time in the convenience of a single location to consider each patient's case and make the best, most comprehensive recommendation for treatment. We also participate in national research trials, providing patients access to the latest cancer treatment options.

The Clinics are currently offered for:

• Breast cancer
• Urologic/prostate cancer
• Thoracic/lung cancers
• Gastrointestinal/colorectal cancer
• Melanoma/skin cancer

In one visit, patients will get education on the disease process, treatment options, support services and opinions and evaluations from each physician specialist. Patients also receive the group's consensus on what the individual treatment plan should involve.

Making an appointment

Patients can make a self-referral, or physicians can refer a patient to any of the clinics for either primary care or as a second opinion. For more information or for a clinic referral, call 704-384-5373.  These services are only available at the Cancer Center at Presbyterian Hospital.
