Ranging from support groups to wellness classes to special events, Presbyterian Cancer Center has a wide range of programs and classes designed to meet your needs as you and your loved ones journey through survivorship.

Marvelous Mondays

A special free day of pampering for cancer patients/survivors.  Participants may register for one salon and one spa service.  All services provided by licensed professionals.  Priority will be given to those who have never attended Marvelous Mondays and who are either currently undergoing or within two years of completing treatment.  Monday, Nov. 2, noon-5 p.m., Carmen! Carmen! Salon at Cotswold.  Registration begins Oct. 12.  Call 704-549-9778 to register.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month Lunch-n-Learn Series

Find a session that fits your schedule!  Free box lunch included.  All sessions offered from noon - 1 p.m.  Call 704-384-CARE to register.

Lymphedema Education Class

If you have had lymph nodes surgically removed or radiated, you need to learn about lymphedema and how to prevent it! Join us for a free education class, Tuesday, Oct. 20, 5:30-6:30 p.m.  Call 704-384-3691 to register.  Learn more about lymphedema services

Third Annual Tea Party in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Join Presbyterian Cancer Center staff in celebrating the strength, courage and grace with which you face a breast cancer diagnosis. Guests are invited to bring new hats and scarves to donate to the Lending Boutique. Monday, Oct. 26, 4-7 p.m. Call 704-384-CARE to register.

A Special Gift for the Holidays

Give the gift of relaxation and support Presbyterian Cacner Rehabilitation & Wellness.  During the month of December $5 of every $90 appointment booked at The Spa at Ballantyne will go back to support cancer rehabilitation services.  Call 74-248-4141 to make your appointment or request more information.

Wellness

Massage for cancer survivors

Cancer patients/survivors are invited to enjoy the benefits of massage from licensed massage therapists with special training in oncology.  Both table and chair massages are available.  Learn More

Caregiver massage

Caregivers need to relax as well!  Thanks to a collaboration with Southeastern School of Massage, free, 10-minute chair massages are now offered for all cancer caregivers.  No registration required.  Cancer Center lobby, Fridays, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Strides to Strength

A 24-session cancer wellness/fatigue management program to improve physical and emotional recovery by focusing on exercise, nutrition and support.  This program helps those who are undergoing treatment for cancer or recovering from its effects.  Morning, afternoon and evening classes are available.  Learn More

Yoga for cancer survivors

Yoga is a well-known wellness activity that, when lead by specially trained staff, can be beneficial for cancer patients/survivors as well.  Currently yoga is offered for free in six-week sessions.  Morning, afternoon and evening classes are available.  Learn More

Support Groups

Support services are available through Presbyterian Buddy Kemp Caring House and include individual and family counseling, special programs for kids and teens and small group meetings.
