Patient Navigation Services

We're proud to welcome the newest addition to our team!  Pat McKinney, RN, BSN, OCN, has become Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville's first cancer patient navigator!  Check out the press release to learn more.

Cancer patient navigators are a team of specially trained nurses who support patients and their families through their journey with cancer.  Services include:

• Linking physicians and patients to expedite care
• Explaining diagnosis and treatment options
• Answering questions throughout treatment
• Providing access to community resources
• Providing access to pyschosocial support
