Huntersville, N.C. - Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville is starting Living Through Cancer, a support group for adult cancer patients. At each session, individuals will have the opportunity to get to know other people in similar situations and discuss their thoughts about cancer. Julie Hill, MSW, LCSW will facilitate the support group.
The group will meet on the second Thursday of each month, from 7 - 8:30 p.m. in the community room at Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville. For the inaugural session on Thursday, September 10, there will be a special reception with light refreshments starting at 6:30 p.m.
This program is part of Presbyterian Buddy Kemp Caring House, a location that offers support services for cancer patients and survivors. For more information, please call 704-384-5223.
