New Audiologist to Join Presbyterian Audiology Team

  Presbyterian Rehabilitation Center is pleased to welcome Chelsea Carter-Ellis, AuD, as the newest member of it’s Audiology Services team. A recent graduate of the Audiology Doctoral program, Dr. Carter-Ellis already has an excellent foundation in diagnosing hearing disorders performing comprehensive evaluations, dispensing hearing devices and working with physician and allied health teams for an effective plan of care for each individual patient’s needs.

  Dr. Carter-Ellis received her doctoral degree at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Ala. During her fourth year of studies, she completed a doctoral externship with Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Carter-Ellis is also a member of the American Academy of Audiology.

  “We are excited about Dr. Carter-Ellis joining our Audiology team.  Her interests include pediatric diagnostic and rehabilitative services as well as remediation of auditory processing disorders.  Dr. Carter-Ellis’ enthusiasm for providing excellent and thorough patient care makes her a perfect fit for our organization,” said Andrea Bailey, manager of audiology for Presbyterian Rehabilitation Center Charlotte.
