The Charlotte Checkers, the minor league affiliate of the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes, donated baby clothing to the nursery at Presbyterian Hospital. These “onesies” will be given to new babies born at Presbyterian Hospital (while supplies last), so the babies will be able to show team spirit for the Checkers, even during the offseason.
“We’re so glad to donate these items to Presbyterian,” said Tera Black, COO, Charlotte Checkers. “We hope they will be a fun baby gift, and it’s our way of saying ‘congratulations’ to new families. And, you’re never too young to be a hockey fan!”
Pictures will be available on the Presbyterian Healthcare Facebook page and others are welcome to upload pictures of their children in Checkers gear directly.
