HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- Hawthorne Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeons and Presbyterian Novant Medical Group are pleased to welcome Jennifer L. McDougal, M.D. The practice is located at 9800 W. Kincey Avenue, Suite 150 in Huntersville and can be reached at 704-316-5180.
Dr. McDougal recently finished a fellowship in vascular surgery at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Prior to her fellowship, she was a general surgery resident at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. McDougal earned a medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga. Her areas of interest include:
- Peripheral endovascular procedures
- Aortic aneurysms
- Carotid occlusive disease
- Lower extremity ischemia
- Venous disease
Dr. McDougal will care for patients at Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville, where a new endovascular suite is scheduled to open this fall.
