Area Cardiologist Joins Forces with Mid Carolina Cardiology and Presbyterian

HUNTERSVILLE AND CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A prominent Lake Norman area cardiologist has joined Mid Carolina Cardiology (MCC) and Presbyterian Novant Medical Group. Richard M. Jacoby, M.D., FACC, previously cared for patients in the Lake Norman community as part of Charlotte Cardiology Associates.

MCC is honored to welcome this outstanding physician to its team. Dr. Jacoby has provided exceptional heart and vascular care to local residents for years, and he looks forward to continuing that tradition as a partner of MCC and Presbyterian.

Dr. Jacoby is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. After earning a medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, he completed his internship, residency and fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Harvard University’s New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston, Mass. Dr. Jacoby is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in invasive and interventional cardiology and echocardiography.
