CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The first full-service physician practice in the EpiCentre is now open, adding a new dimension to the ever-popular multiuse complex in the heart of uptown Charlotte.
First Charlotte Physicians – EpiCentre made their much anticipated move from their temporary office location in Midtown Medical Tower across from Presbyterian Orthopaedic Hospital to a brand new more than 12,000 square foot office located at 210 East Trade Street, Suite D-230.
The internal medicine practice, formerly known as First Charlotte Physicians – Founders Hall, made plans to expand into their new EpiCentre office more than two years ago and has been counting down the days ever since. As the practice outgrew their 6,000 square foot Founders Hall office, it became clear that additional space was needed, and a new EpiCentre office was just the cure.
Now patients have immediate access to EpiCentre dining, entertainment and even their home or office in addition to convenient reserved patient parking, a rarity for any business in uptown Charlotte.
First Charlotte Physicians – EpiCentre will continue to offer comprehensive health services for adolescents, adults and seniors. First Charlotte Physicians also offers occupational health services such as an Executive Preventive Medicine program, pulmonary function tests, stress tests, echocardiograms and more. The office also provides the convenience of bilingual care from physician Wilma Resto-Florez, M.D., who is fluent in Spanish. All five physicians practicing at First Charlotte Physicians - EpiCentre, Jimmie Adcock, M.D., William Bullock, M.D., Jonathan Edwards, M.D., Anne Meade, M.D. and Wilma Resto-Florez, M.D., are board-certified in internal medicine.
