CHARLOTTE - Presbyterian Hospital Matthews celebrated the opening of its newly renovated Radiology Department at an open house for physicians and staff Tuesday, January 22, 2008. The102-bed Matthews hospital added an additional CT scanner and advanced MRI imaging capabilities that now allow the facility to help meet the increasing healthcare needs of the rapidly growing communities of Matthews and South Charlotte.
"We are excited about this new opportunity to better serve a broader population and provide even more patients with remarkable care," said Debra Wills, radiology manager at Presbyterian Hospital Matthews.
The ribbon-cutting celebration included tours of the new space, information highlighting the new imaging equipment, food and a festive atmosphere!
"This new technology allows Presbyterian Hospital Matthews imaging capabilities that we can really be proud to share with our community."
