Samara Foxx is a new community liaison with Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation.   Foxx will assume her role on September 27 and will be actively involved in raising awareness about community initiatives, assisting with special Foundation events and connecting Presbyterian with leaders across the region.

“I am excited to begin working at Presbyterian, an organization that promotes overall excellence,” Foxx said.  “I’m eager to show the community the difference Presbyterian is making in the healthcare world and how the community can be involved in our initiatives.”

Foxx is a lawyer and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan School of Law.  Before joining Presbyterian, she served as the director of business affairs with the Mecklenburg County Department of Social Services and as senior counsel with INVISTA.  She has also served as deputy chief counsel for the United States House of Representatives Judiciary Committee.  Foxx is also involved in many community organizations, serving on the board of directors for the Levine Museum of the New South and on the advisory board for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at UNC-Charlotte.

“Samara will bring a lot of energy and experience to our team,” said Don Jonas, vice president, Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation.  “We’re excited to have her join us, and we know she’s going to do an excellent job helping spread the word about the Foundation’s programs and initiatives.”
