Our orthopaedic specialists work as a team to identify the best possible plan of care for each patient. In many cases, injuries can be managed with rehabilitation or pain management therapies. However, if your injury requires surgical treatment, you can count on our team to deliver the best possible care.
Our surgical team includes board-certified orthopaedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses with specialized orthopaedic training and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs). After surgery, Presbyterian Inpatient Care Specialists' orthopaedic physician team provides co-medical management along with the surgeons and anesthesiologists.
Our operating rooms are equipped with the latest technology for inpatient and outpatient surgery, including total joint replacement for knees, hips and shoulders, major and minor spine surgery, foot surgery, knee and shoulder arthroscopy and specialized hand surgery. We have an advanced pain management program and control pain by placing a continuous nerve block catheter prior to surgery. We also offer pre-operative joint replacement classes for patients who are scheduled to receive knee, hip or shoulder replacements at our hospital.
