Patients Dining
Your physician will prescribe a diet for you that compliments your medical care. A menu will be provided in each patient's room from which to make your selections. If you would like information about your diet, your physician or nurse may request that one of our registered dietitian/nutritionists speak with you. Family and friends are encouraged to use the cafeteria, however patients' diet restrictions limit food selections to room menus.
Mealtime varies slightly in all patient care areas. Generally, breakfast is served between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m., lunch between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and dinner between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. If you miss a meal due to a test or other procedure, a meal will be provided when all of your tests are completed.
Cafeteria
Presbyterian Hospital Matthews Cafe offers hot entrees, grilled sandwiches, deli items, soups & salads, and desserts and is located on the first floor of the hospital.
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 7 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Gift Shop
The gift shop, operated by the Presbyterian Hospital Matthews Auxiliary offers personal care items, books, magazines, flowers, candy and baby gifts. The gift shop is located on the first floor.
Hours of Operation:
- Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Sunday: Closed
ATM Location
For your convenience, an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) is located on the 1st floor of Presbyterian Hospital Matthews near the gift shop.
