Outpatient Infusion Services at Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville

The infusion area is designed to foster health and wellness under the direct supervision of a qualified, well-trained nursing staff that is specially trained in chemotherapy and oncology.  We serve patients from pediatrics to geriatrics, offering Monday through Friday services with weekend coverage for patients whose treatment regimen falls on those days.   

Our infusion area provides the following therapies:

• Chemotherapy (infusion and injection)
• Therapeutic phlebotomy
• Transfusion of blood/blood products
• IV infusion therapy
• Antibiotics/injectable medications
• Central line access and care
• Tetanus immunizations
• Serial rabies injections
• IV hydration
