Diabetes affects nearly 1 in 20 Americans. People who are newly diagnosed with diabetes often need help adjusting to the new reality of their lives. Presbyterian Diabetes Resource Center at Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville helps patients use the latest treatment tools and information to properly manage their care.  We have programs designed for anyone living with diabetes, no matter when they were diagnosed.

How it works:

Once your primary care physician refers you to Presbyterian Diabetes Resource Center, we will contact you to schedule an appointment.  Based on information provided by you and your physician, our team will develop a self-management plan.

Our extensive self-management series consists of three parts:

• Indivi
  dual follow-up appointment
• Living with Diabetes class
