Construction at Presbyterian Hospital

Presbyterian Hospital is adding more floors, hospital beds and operating rooms and expanding services to meet the needs of our patients. We are excited to be building the future of remarkable medicine and apologize for any inconveniences in the interim period.

Construction kicked off in late 2008 to build a four-story, 90-room addition on top of Presbyterian Cancer Center and expand the Emergency Department with eight new operating rooms and a new endoscopy suite.

Important Construction Information

• The Emergency Department entrance has relocated to the front main entrance of the hospital located at the circular drive off of Hawthorne Lane. Free valet and transport services are available at the front main entrance for Emergency Department and Cancer Center patients. All other patients and all visitors should access the hospital via the North Wing Lobby entrance, which is conveniently located next to the hospital parking deck.
• The Emergency Department/Cancer Center parking lot is closed. Free valet is available for Cancer Center and Emergency Department patients.

  The Cancer Center entrance is no longer accessed from Caswell Road. Please enter the Cancer Center from the front entrance of Presbyterian Hospital (off of Hawthorne Lane).

Free Valet Parking Service

• Valet parking is available for Cancer Center patients between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, at the circular drive accessed off Hawthorne Lane.

  Valet services for Emergency Department patients are available at the circular drive accessed off Hawthorne Lane 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
