Presbyterian School of Nursing is an academic institution of higher education that is guided by the core values of Presbyterian Healthcare -- compassion, diversity, personal excellence and teamwork.
The second oldest hospital-based nursing school in the Carolinas, the program opened in 1903 with three students. Since then, thousands of nurses have graduated from the program who have contributed to health care throughout the United States and in many foreign countries. The School continues to thrive because of its ability to change and to grow as the nursing needs of our society become more complex.
In July 2004, Presbyterian School of Nursing combined nursing programs with Queens University of Charlotte. The partnership offers students a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN).
