Here are some guidelines for determining if Dr. Getwell would fit into your event:
- Dr. Getwell is only allowed out of his fish bowl for 1-2 hours at a time.
- If your event takes place in the summer months, Dr. Getwell can only be in hot temperatures (above 85 degrees) for 15 minutes at a time.
- Dr. Getwell must have an escort at all times. Please plan to have someone at your event "take care" of him.
- While Dr. Getwell is loved by all ages, he is an excellent addition to any venue with children.
The form linked on this page is a guideline to assist you in having Dr. Gill Getwell, the official mascot of Presbyterian Hemby Children's Hospital, at your upcoming event. All requests must be submitted in this format and will be considered on an individual basis. Requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the event.
All appearances are subject to availability and are considered on a first come, first served basis. All information is required for processing. Please fax completed form to Carolina Rivera at (704) 417-1197.
