We have added more floors and hospital beds and expanded services to meet the needs of our patients. The Huntersville community has been so supportive of their community hospital that growth is now a necessity. We are honored, privileged and excited to build the future of remarkable medicine for you, the residents of the Huntersville community.
Our new hospital tower accommodates 15 new beds (13 medical/surgical beds and two Intensive Care Unit beds), which brings Huntersville Medical Center's total bed count up to 75. We also added extra room for women's support services, all within two additional floors built up over the surgical floor. The project opened in September 2012 -- three months ahead of schedule.
