What is a Parish Nurse?
A Parish Nurse is a specially prepared RN who works within a faith community as a volunteer or paid employee. Parish Nursing is the practice of providing whole person care to the people of the community. It is a specialized area of nursing and is recognized by the American Nurses Association. Practiced internationally, Parish Nursing is a dedicated ministry developed by Presbyterian Hospital and local faith communities.

Health Ministry
Health ministry embodies the commitment to promote holistic health to parishioners.
This program prepares natural leaders to educate and motivate the church in health and wellness, and to improve access to health resources.
Integrating faith and health, The Solomon House offers free health education and appropriate referrals to community resources for those who might not have full access to healthcare in the Huntersville/Lake Norman area.
