Pastoral Care
Chaplaincy Services
| Our chaplains are available to provide spiritual guidance, prayer, emotional support and comfort. |
Chaplains act as a resource to ensure that the spiritual needs of patients, their families and loved ones are addressed during their hospital visit, particularly during critical times of need.
When should I call a chaplain?
Facing a challenging or life-threatening medical diagnosis or treatment can lead to deep spiritual inquiry or desire for spiritual support. If you or a loved one confronts such circumstances, you may find comfort in speaking with a chaplain.
Chaplains can help you:
- Share and sort through confused emotions and fears.
- Receive prayer support and nonjudgmental guidance.
- Learn more about appropriate Presbyterian Healthcare resources as well as local faith and religious community resources.
