Monroe Family Medical Center Joins Presbyterian Novant Medical Group

Monroe, N.C. - Monroe Family Medical Center has joined Presbyterian Novant Medical Group, the network of physicians' practices affiliated with Presbyterian Healthcare.
"Joining Presbyterian gives Monroe Family Medical Center the opportunity to grown and enhance our comprehensive sevices," said Paul Kitchin, M.D., who has been practicing at Monroe Family Medical Center since 1967. "We are excited to be part of such a large healthcare organization with a strong emphasis on patient care." The practice will still be in the same location, 1420 E. Franklin St., and they will continue all previous relationships with surrounding hospitals and consulting physicians.
Monroe Family Medical Center has been serving patients in Monroe and surrounding communities since 1965. A frequent winner of the Enquirer Journal's Reader's Choice Award for Favorite Medical Clinic, the practice enjoys getting to know their patients on a personal level and continuing the relationship for years to come.
Monroe Family Medical Center has two expereinced physicians, Dr. Paul Kitchin and David Allison, M.D., as well as a highly-trained staff of 23. Dr. Allison has been practicing at Monroe Family Medical Center since 1998. Both are board-certified in family medicine and are available to serve patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors.
