Charlotte, N.C. - Melissa Robson was recently promoted to serve as a senior operations director at Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville. Robson, who first joined the organization 14 years ago as a surgical services manager, led the team that helped open the 50-bed, full-service hospital in 2004.
"Through my expanded operational duties, I will continue to support our organizational initiatives aimed at delivering a remarkable patient care experience, in every dimension, every time," Robson said. Currently, Robson oversees more than 350 employees who help treat thousands of patients a year at the North Mecklenburg county-based hospital.
A Florida native, Robson launched her healthcare career as a nurse. She obtained her bachelors in nursing degree from Gardner-Webb University and her masters in healthcare administration from Pfeiffer University. Robson is also a member of the Ada Jenkins Board of Directors.
Married with two children, Robson is a member of University City United Methodist Church.
