Denver, NC - In an effort to provide a wider array of healthcare options for people of all ages in Lincoln County, two physicians from Presbyterian Hospital have opened practices in one Denver-based facility. Lakeside Family Physicians and Huntersville Obstetrics & Gynecology at Denver are sharing a medical practice at the corners of highway 16 and 73, at 7482 Waterside Crossing Blvd., Suite 202.

At Lakeside Family Physicians, Elisabeth Evanshine Stoffel, M.D., specializes in care for the entire family. Same-day sick appointments, physical examinations, immunizations and care for acute and chronic illnesses are among the services provided. Dr. Stoffel graduated with honors from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and has been practicing in the Charlotte area for nearly a decade. Her professional interests include prevention and treatment of diabetes and cardiovascular disease and the care of children.

After providing obstetrics and gynecological services to women in the Carolinas for 15 years, Stephen Hildebrand, M.D., will now be providing services at Huntersville Obstetrics & Gynecology at Denver. His practice provides personalized obstetrical and gynecological care, including in-office 3D/4D ultrasonography. Dr. Hildebrand is a board-certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine.
