Presbyterian Hospital Opens Its First Medical Plaza in Ballantyne

Charlotte, N.C. -- Patients from South Mecklenburg, Union and Lancaster counties will now have more choices in healthcare services following the opening of Presbyterian Medical Plaza Ballantyne. Located at 14215 Ballantyne Corporate Place, the two-story facility will house:

Presbyterian Surgery Center
- including three operating rooms and an endoscopy suite
- Ballantyne Pediatric Associates

Presbyterian Breast Center
- featuring digital mammography and more
- Presbyterian Imaging Center
- Presbyterian Laboratory Services

Presbyterian Rehabilitation Services
- occupational, physical and speech therapy are among the services offered
- Presbyterian Sleep Medicine Services
- Rankin Women's Center
Additional services will be unveiled at the center during the next several months.
"Presbyterian Healthcare has been delivering medical services to residents across the North Carolina region for more than 103 years," said Roland Bibeau, Presbyterian Medical Plaza Ballantyne adminsitrator. "Broadening our reach in the community mirrors our mission statement of improving the health of the community one person at a time."
Presbyterian Medical Plaza Ballantyne is the first of three medical complexes of its kind to open. Two other medical plazas in Union County are under construction in Monroe and Waxhaw. Additionally, the organization will soon begin the construction of a new 50-bed full-service hospital in the Mint Hill area.
