HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville is hosting the second annual Kids Care Fair on Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on the PHH front lawn. The public is welcome to attend this free event and celebrate the safety of children in the community. Those in attendance can learn about child health, safety and physicians in the Huntersville area. Food will be provided, and there will be plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Activities include a moon bounce and face painting, as well as appearances by Kitty and Sully of the Danger Rangers and the Race 2 Safety racing team. Bike helmets and other giveaways will be given on a first come, first serve basis to those participating in the activities.
"This event allows us to teach children, parents and the Huntersville community about child health, safety and ways that they can protect themselves from injury," said Cyndi jo Brady, community health educator and organizer of the Kids Care Fair. This is a great opportunity for us to reach out to the local community and give them a chance to learn about the hospital and physicians in their area.
