Hospital Administrator Receives State Healthcare Award

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Roland Bibeau, administrator of Presbyterian Medical Plazas in Monroe and Ballantyne, received the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Senior-Level Healthcare Regent's Award. In addition to his administrative duties, Bibeau also maintains his license as a registered nurse.
The award was presented to Bibeau at an ACHE event held in conjunction with the North Carolina Hospital Association's annual meeting in Cary, N.C. The award recognizes ACHE members who are experienced in the field and have significantly contributed to the advancement of healthcare management and the achievement of the college's goals and mission.
Candidates for the award are evaluated on several factors:
- Leadership ability
- Innovative and creative management
- Executive capability in developing their own organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community
- Contributions to the development of others in the healthcare profession
- Leadership in local, state or healthcare association activities; participation in civic and community activities
- Participation in ACHE activities
