CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Presbyterian Hemby Children's Hospital and the Danger Rangers, an animated series created by Charlotte-based Educational Adventures, have forged a partnership that will educate, entertain and empower children to make smarter safety decisions.
The partnership, which includes such elements as distribution of children's literature and DVDs, as well as television, radio and print advertising, kicked off today with a "sneak preview" party of the three commercials that will air later this month. Danger Ranger characters Kitty and Sully made guest appearances at the preview and then visited the patients at Hemby Children's Hospital.
"I'm excited not only for what this new partnership brings to Presbyterian Hemby Children's Hospital, but also for the important safety messages we're getting out to children and their parents," said Lynn Boggs, COO of Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Galen Grayson, executive vice president of business development for Danger Rangers, agreed. "We are incredibly pleased to join together with Presbyterian to provide a multi-media child safety awareness campaign to our city. By combining our resources, we can deliver this message in a truly unprecedented manner."
