The 12 physicians and one family nurse practitioner of Meridian Medical Group have just joined Presbyterian Healthcare's physician division. The group was founded in 1999 and has three locations in the Charlotte area and offers primary care services for patients of all ages. The locations are: University - 8420 University Executive Park Drive, Abbey - 2801 Randolph Drive and South - 7108 Pineville-Matthews Road.
"We're delighted that these physicians have chosen to join Presbyterian," said Carl Armato, chief operating officer for Presbyterian Healthcare. "They have an outstanding reputation in the community for providing exceptional patient care and will be a wonderful part of our network. We believe that physicians should have active leadership roles with their practices and with our facilities and Presbyterian provides this attractive environment for physicians," Armato added.
"We're proud to join Presbyterian Healthcare because our patients have always received excellent care from Presbyterian and their staff," said pediatrician Pamela Johnson.
Brett Christoffersen, M.D. added, "When our group approached Presbyterian about joining their network, from start to finish, they were highly impressive.
