Structure and Responsibilities
| Learn how the Fellowship works and the administrative areas involved. |
The Fellowship program is structured to fit the needs and interests of the specific individual selected. Although there is a comprehensive rotation laid out for the Fellow, the program is very flexible and can be changed to allow him/her more time in their areas of interest. When the Fellow begins, he/she will meet with a preceptor to discuss main areas of interest and how the rotation can be altered to accommodate them. Some of the administrative departments/areas included in the rotation are:
| Medical Affairs | Process Improvement |
| Financial Planning | Human Resources |
| Facility Management/Planning | Employee Relations |
| Finance | Marketing & Public Relations |
| Patient Care Services | Materials Management |
| Internal Audit & Compliance | Presbyterian Foundation |
| Physician Practice Management |
Under the direction of the COO and the VPs, the Fellow will provide support to the health system. As a member of the management team, the Fellow attends executive meetings and has direct contact with the CEO and COO. He/she is responsible for management of projects, either predetermined or as assigned.
