Treatment Scheduling
| Hyperbaric treatments can be given on an inpatient or outpatient basis once or twice a day as determined by the consulting hyperbaric physician. Each individual treatment will last 90-120 minutes depending on the physician's orders. |
The Presbyterian Center for Hyperbaric Medicine team will schedule your treatments at the request of the referring physician. However, because of the unpredictable admission of critically ill patients requiring Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, no daily appointments can be guaranteed. If a patient is unable to keep an appointment, we ask that they please notify the Center for Hyperbaric Medicine as soon as possible by calling 704-384-4098.
Visiting Policy
Family and friends of patients receiving hyperbaric therapy may wait in the Emergency Department waiting area. Visiting is permitted in short intervals at the discretion of the center's nursing staff.
