Hemorrhoid Procedure
PPH (procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids) has recently been developed as a surgical treatment for the removal of hemorrhoids.
In many cases hemorrhoids can be treated without surgery. In certain cases, however, surgery is necessary. In the past, hemorrhoid surgery required several incisions and resulted in significant postoperative pain. PPH (procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids) has recently been developed as a surgical treatment for the removal of hemorrhoids.
Recovery
Most patients experience much less pain and are out of work for only three to seven days (compared to 14-21 days for the conventional procedure). In addition, no external incisions are necessary. The patients return to normal activities quicker than those treated with other surgical procedures.
