Living with Diabetes
Living with Diabetes is an extensive self-management program that help people with diabetes live active, independent and vital lives.
The Living with Diabetes self-management program consists of three parts:
  • You will learn about self-management, the skills needed to control blood sugars and information on diet, monitoring, meal planning and exercise.
  • You will meet with the nurse and dietitian to monitor your progress, to continue your self-management training and answer your questions.
  • You will learn how to address common issues such as the highs and lows of blood sugars, management on the days that you are not feeling well, stress management, carbohydrate counting, eating out and chronic complications.

Management of Diabetes and Pregnancy
We offer individual consultations on diabetes and pregnancy for women who develop gestational diabetes. This includes monitoring glucose and planning meals. A certified diabetes educator will work with your physician throughout your pregnancy.
Insulin Pump Instruction
With an endocrinologist referral, we also help evaluate which pump is right for you and show you the proper way to use it.
Support Groups
There are also support groups offered every month to help provide the support you need to live with diabetes. Click here to view our online calendar of events.
