Partners
| Hemby Children's Hospital is fortunate to have special partners who help us provide remarkable care for our patients. |
Danger Rangers
Presbyterian Hemby Children's Hospital and the Danger Rangers, an animated series created by Charlotte-based Educational Adventures, have forged a partnership that will educate, entertain and empower children to make smarter safety decisions. Since an estmated 20 million children are injured per year by accidental injuries, we feel we have a very important message to share.
Through the partnership, children at Hemby, the Children's Emergency Department and Presbyterian pediatric offices will have the opportunity to learn fun safety messages through activity books, stories and DVDs. The Charlotte community will also benefit from Danger Ranger safety commercials and advertisements.

Microsoft
In 2001, Microsoft Corporation and Presbyterian Hospital came together to form the Hemby Cup, a hockey game designed specifically to raise funds to support programs at Presbyterian Hemby Children's Hospital. Microsoft, community sponsors and Presbyterian Hospital employees have rallied to raise over $300,000 in the past five years.
The Hemby Cup is currently funding two major initiatives. The first initiative is the creation of a new resource center for the patients of Presbyterian Hemby Children's Hospital. This center will allow children and their families a place to escape, as well as a location to maintain contact with friends and family.
The second initiative will be the continued funding of the Arts For Life Program. Arts For Life provides daily visual art, music, photography, creative writing lessons, and art support groups to children, adolescents, and young adults battling cancer, life-threatening diseases, and other disabilities. Arts For Life has quickly become a favorite activity for the patients of Presbyterian Hemby Children's Hospital and Presbyterian Blume Pediatric Hematology & Oncology Clinic.
Each year, more than 50 families from Hemby Children's Hospital and more than 600 supporters attended the annual Hemby Cup.
Junior League of Charlotte
Hemby Children's Hospital is fortunate to have the support of the Junior League of Charlotte. Through volunteerism and financial support, Junior League ensures the vitality of valuable programs such as Arts for Life.
