Having a cardiovascular event, such as a heart attack or stroke, can greatly impact the way an individual performs daily activities. The Presbyterian Cardiovascualar Institute offers comprehensive cardiac and stroke rehabiliation programs to help patients regain the ability and confidence to perform the routine things that may have been affected by their cardiovascular event.
This program is designed for individuals who have had a heart attack, recent cardiac bypass surgery, or received a pacemaker/defibrillator implantation or angioplasty. The program is also appropriate for individuals with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, peripheral vascular disease or chest pain.
The Presbyterian Stroke Rehabilitation Program is designed to help individuals who have had a stroke achieve the best functional outcomes. The program is designed to meet the individual needs of each patient.
