Lymphedema Services
The Lymphedema Clinic at Presbyterian Cancer Center Rehabilitation and Wellness provides expertise and support for post-surgery individuals experiencing lymphatic swelling.
Individuals who have had lymph nodes removed or injured during their cancer treatment may be at risk for lymphedema. This condition is characterized by abnormal swelling of one or more areas of the body. If patients experience persistent swelling at any time during or after treatment, they should consult their physician. Such swelling may require special treatment.
Services include:
  • Latest treatment techniques such as:
    • Lymphatic drainage massage
    • Compression bandaging
    • Meticulous skin care
    • Exercise therapy
  • Personalized treatment plan
  • Individual ecaluation and treatment by licensed physical therapists and physical therapy assistants with training in lymphedema
