Facing a diagnosis of cancer can be very difficult for individuals, their families and friends. Presbyterian Cancer Center offers a wide range of support services for cancer patients and their loved ones.
Our wellness and rehabilitation program can strengthen your body and mind on the road to recovery.
Strides to Strength is a 12-week/24-session cancer wellness program designed to help patients achieve physical and emotional wellness following a diagnosis of cancer. This program is available to patients who are newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment or are trying to recover from the effects of cancer.
The Presbyterian Buddy Kemp Caring House provides psychosocial support services to cancer patients and their families. Our services include support groups, individual counseling, resource library, and education for adults, teens and children.
Presbyterian Cancer Center recognizes the impact cancer can have on a person physically, emotionally and spiritually. We offer inpatient pastoral care services as a part of our holistic approach to cancer care.
Nutrition is a very important part of the fight against cancer. Presbyterian Cancer Center offers nutritition counseling services to help patients develop and maintain a healthy diet.
Most patients with advanced cancer experience pain during the course of their disease. Pain management is not only designed to relieve the pain, but to help maintain the patient's desired quality of life.
Presbyterian offers complete hospice and palliative care services for cancer patients and their families, so that they may live as comfortably as possible.
