Cancer Research
Presbyterian Cancer Center participates in many research studies that allow our patients to receive the latest cancer treatment options.
We know that the advances made in cancer treatment and prevention are a direct result of the cooperative effort of medical professionals throughout the world who share their knowledge through research.

Our research program is composed of doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other professionals who work together as a team. Their mission is not only to find new and better ways to treat patients with cancer, but to prevent the disease from occurring at all.

If you're just starting to learn about cancer research, we've put together a guide to help you understand some of the main words and concepts.
At Presbyterian Cancer Center, some 90 clinical trials are currently under way for both adult and pediatric cancers, involving hundreds of patients.
For parents of children with pediatric cancers, it can be difficult to make decisions about treatment options. Learn how participating in a cancer research study can provide your child with access to the newest treatments available.
