If your bones are weak due to osteoporosis or you have been injured by a fall, our Fragility Fracture Program can help get you out of the hospital and back on your feet more quickly.

Our team works with patients age 50 and older to ensure timely evaluation and treatment of hip fractures. The team includes orthopedic surgeons, hospitalists, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists and case managers as well as a dietitian and a fragility-fracture liaison nurse. We also offer a streamlined approach to care, which gets most patients into surgery quickly after arriving at the Emergency Department.

To help prevent future injuries, we will teach you about proper bone health, how to prevent falls and how to manage your osteoporosis. We will also work with your primary care physician to ensure you receive continued care for your condition.
