Patient Meals
Your physician will prescribe a diet for you that complements your medical care. A menu will be delivered each morning from which to make your selections. If you would like nutritional information about your diet, your physician or nurse can request that information from our registered dietitian/nutritionist.
Mealtimes vary slightly in all patient-care areas. Generally, breakfast is served between 7:30 and 9:00 am, lunch between 11:45 and 1:30 pm and dinner between 5:00 and 6:30 pm. If you miss a meal due to a test or other procedure, a meal will be provided when all of your tests are completed.
Visitor Dining
The Totally Hip Café is located in the lobby of Novant Health Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital. The café offers a range of food and beverage options. The hours are:
Monday - Friday
Breakfast - 6:30 - 10 a.m.
Lunch - 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
(grill open from 2 - 4 p.m.; hot line reopens at 4 p.m.)
Dinner - 4 - 6:30 p.m.
Saturday/Sunday
Breakfast - 6 - 10 a.m.
Lunch - 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Gift Shop
Our gift shop, located in the lobby of Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital, includes a range of thoughtful gifts. The shop features flowers, balloons, greeting cards, candy, gifts, and toiletries. Hours are Monday - Friday, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
