Becker's Hospital Review recognized Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center as one of the "100 Great Hospitals" in the nation for 2012. Presbyterian Medical Center was honored along with other nationally renowned healthcare organizations, such as Johns Hopkins University and Mayo Clinic.
Presbyterian Medical Center earned recognition on the list because of accolades in clinical quality, innovative patient care delivery and by continuously offering new services, specialty programs or technology to provide the highest level of care for patients.
"This recognition wouldn't have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our staff and physicians who provide patients with excellent quality care," said Amy Vance, Chief Operating Officer, Presbyterian Medical Center. "Thank you for your ongoing commitment to the remarkable patient experience and for keeping the patient at the center of all you do."
Becker's editorial team accepted nominations and conducted research to compile the list of "100 Great Hospitals", including rankings and quality outcomes data from other nationally recognized sources such as Magnet Recognition by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
