Hemby Theatre’s red carpet has all the excitement of going to the movies: tickets, concessions, stadium seating and great movies to entertain your kids. This retreat helps children and families take their minds of their illness and enjoy a movie without leaving our protected environment.
Hemby Theatre also hosts magic shows, holiday parties or your child’s own on-stage performance. Hemby Theatre even has a built-in camera to record your child’s show, and we will customize your DVD for you to keep and remember this time of healing in your child’s life.
The theatre opened in 2009 with a special grant from Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation and support from the annual Novant Health Hemby Children's Hospital Golf Classic. If you would like to donate to the Foundation, please donate now online, or call 704-384-4048.
